Education is not restricted to the classroom and we carefully choose the range of after school opportunities to complement our school curriculum. Each year there is a comprehensive programme of activities on offer after school where pupils can sign up to activities with their parents' permission. These programmes run on a termly basis.
After school clubs start at 3.25pm and finish at 4.25pm unless otherwise stated. The dates, location, pick up point of the clubs will be given to the parent/carer when their child's place has been confirmed.
We also offer before school clubs and these have various start times. They finish by 8.45am which allows pupils to get to their classes in time for the morning register and the start of the school day.
Clubs vary according to year groups and places are prioritised for pupils that have not previously attended a club.
Pupils who are entitled to Pupil Premium are entitled to one after school club free of charge. If you would like your child/ren to do more than one club you will need to pay for any additional clubs (the most expensive will be free of charge).
For more information and to find out if your child is eligible for Pupil Premium, please contact Mrs Metcalf in the school office.
Spring Term 2023 Clubs
Clubs run by our own tutors/teachers
This term we have Art and French after school clubs which will be taught by our own tutors and teachers. Places are free of charge and will be offered to children who have been on the waiting list since Autumn term.
If your child was offered a place for Spring, you will receive written notification by email/Operoo e-form asking for confirmation. If you do not require the place, you must still complete the form. If you do not complete the form, we will assume that your child does not require the place and it will be offered to the next child on the waiting list.
Should further places become available we will re-advertise these clubs.
Clubs run by external providers
We offer a variety of exciting clubs run by external providers on our school site, including Fashion Design, Taekwondo, Football, Basketball, Multi-Sports, Computing, Dance, Photography and Chess.
Bookings and payment for these activities are made directly to the provider. Please check the school clubs letter sent at the beginning of term for how to book and pay. Parents will be informed directly by the external provider if their child has a place, or has been put on their waiting list.
Please see your individual club letters for term dates.
