Breakfast Club & After School Care
We are delighted to be working with Aktiva Camps to offer before and after school care at Horsenden Primary School. They provide fantastic extended schools services to create a stimulating and exciting service for your children in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
Breakfast Club starts from 7.30am until the start of the school day, and After School Care from the end of the school day until 6.00pm during term time. The Aktiva sessions will be based at the Children's Centre on the school site. Details on the drop off and pick up process are sent to parents at time of booking.
Breakfast Club
A choice of breakfast cereal, fruit, bagels and toast will be provided. Aktiva cater for dietary requirements which they ask you for when you register with them. Aktiva is a multichoice multiactivity organisation. Weather dependent they will be getting children active outdoors with a range of activities for them to choose from. They will also have indoor activities to get children ready for the day ahead. When school starts, children will be taken to their classrooms to register with their teachers.
After School Care (Club)
In the afternoons, the team will collect year groups from the playground. A substantial snack will be served consisting of fruit, vegetables, dips and sandwiches. Children are encouraged to help plan menus and contribute to selecting their favourite things.
Aktiva pre-plan each session with multiple activities for the children to participate in (tennis, football, bench ball, arts and crafts just to name a few). Dependent on numbers at each session, children will be zoned into key stage or year bubbles in the space that they are using.

Bookings and payment are made directly with Aktiva. Please go to www.aktivacamps.com – register yourself and your child/children first by creating an account, then select the service you require.

Fees
Annual pass – The booking system will take the number of sessions you have booked for the year and calculate the yearly price and divide this into 11 equal payments. You can pay with these using childcare vouchers, debit/credit card and standing orders.
Adhoc booking – Book on the same day until 1pm for After School Club – only debit/credit card payment accepted.
